Last updated: 5 October 2026. FAKE by objekts is operated by objekts and provides persistent character-authoring tools through supported AI clients.
Character project data. When a project is created or saved, FAKE stores structured Character State, version history, locks, authored morphology, look and render settings, and internal project identifiers required to maintain continuity.
Reference media. A source portrait is optional. Local photo fitting can run in Studio before storage. A reference image is uploaded to FAKE storage only when the user explicitly saves that reference into the project. Stored reference media is private project media and is exposed only through short-lived authorized URLs used for the requested workflow.
Operational data. FAKE may record limited service telemetry such as tool/event name, success or failure, timestamps and internal project identifiers for reliability, debugging, abuse prevention and service security. FAKE does not require users to provide an OpenAI API key and does not collect payment-card data.
We process this data to create and maintain persistent character projects, apply requested edits, preserve version history and locks, retrieve authorized project media, diagnose failures, protect the service and support user requests.
In the normal ChatGPT workflow, final image generation is performed by ChatGPT's native image-generation capability. FAKE hands the current authored state and user-authorized reference context to the host ChatGPT conversation; FAKE does not route normal plugin generation through a separate paid image-generation provider. Data processed by the host AI platform is also subject to that platform's applicable privacy terms.
objekts does not sell FAKE user data. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers needed to operate the service, with the host AI platform when the user invokes the corresponding workflow, when required by law, or when the user explicitly asks for a human objekts production handoff.
Saved Character State and explicitly saved reference media remain associated with the project so continuity works across sessions. Operational telemetry is retained only as needed for reliability and security. Users can request deletion of a FAKE project, stored reference media or associated service data by contacting salute@objekts.ai. We will delete data we control unless retention is required for legal or security reasons.
Reference-photo storage is optional. Users may author a character without providing a reference photo. FAKE does not use MCP request metadata for behavioral profiling or advertising. Do not upload media you are not authorized to use.
